I like to call it resurrection Sunday because everyone associates Easter with the bunny and eggs and candy. What did you think about today? Was it candy and eggs and bunnies and baskets? Or was it the amazing resurrection of Jesus Christ? He died to take on and remove our sins which was huge, but his resurrection was even bigger because it proved to all of us that He was God! So He is risen and He is alive today! I hope everyone had a great Easter! or should I say, Resurrection Sunday!

yah, that is pretty kool calling it resurrection sunday instead of easter, todd. but i have a question. What does painting colorfully decorated eggs and hidding them, a big fuzzy white bunny in a sweatervest that also "hides eggs", and cute little ducks have to do with the Lord's Son dieing for my (and also your) sins so i (and also you) can go to heaven? Dont take me wrong, i love getting little presents on Easter as much as the next guy, but i was just thunking about that durung service this monring, which, by the way, was exelent and not to mention awesome! i dont know, i was just wondering. :)

my family does this cool thing where my mom will give us a bible verse and then we will have to find an egg like if my mom read the verse about Mordicai being dressed in the king's robes I might look in some bath robes upstairs it was fun!

evan, all of the bunnies and eggs and stuff has been made up by the world. it really doesn't have much to do with Easter. It is a reason for people to celebrate who do not know Christ. It is not wrong to have candy and eggs and stuff just like it is not wrong to give and receive gifts on Christmas, the day that Jesus was born. That is good that you were thinking about it, evan. John's parent's seem to have a good things going by combining the two.

On Easter morning i didn't start out the day by saying "Today's the day when Jesus was resurrected." At first what i thought was "Yes!! I get eggs and candy!!" Later on in the day, I remembered what I had seen on Friday. So I started thinking about what Easter really is about. I had a great Easter. Hope everybody else did to
I started saying Resurection Sunday today and it really made me sad because you wouldn't believe the number of people who really didn't know what it meant and the true meaning of Resurection Sunday or Easter
