so long sweet summer...

I cannot believe summer is almost over. I love how everyone turns things down a notch in the summer and relaxes a little more. What was the best thing you did over your break?

While I'm sad to see the warm days pass, this summer actually started out rough for me and stayed that way. When you go through hard times, you have the chance to learn so much more about God's love and the past three months were no exception for me. So,when I look back on the summer of '08, I am going to have to make a decision. I can either dwell on the pain of it or think of all the ways that God showed me how good He is.

No doubt that when I look back on this summer, I'm going to remember how hard it was. But, I more so want to focus on how good God was and how He provided everything I needed to get through it. Reminds me of some verses...

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8

I will remember the deeds of the LORD;

yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
I will meditate on all your works
and consider all your mighty deeds.
Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
Psalm 77:11-13

yay s0 thats the verse! i have been tryin t0 figure 0ut where the 1st verse was. i heared it and immedietly changed. i now try much harder t0 0nly keep my min t0 things that r pure! f0r example, i was in the car and i was listening t0 a s0ng that i knew pr0bable wasnt the best and there was a huge storm! (like a week a0) s0 i thought that maybe if i changed the stati0n the st0rm w0uld clear a little as an example that god is there and knows when i am listening to him 0r n0t
