COW

The Comment of the Week this week goes to one of Leadertreks trip team members, Hayley Green. She had some great feedback from the trip and so I thought I would put it up so all could see it. Thanks Hayley! Here it is...

i did a devotion earlier today and it was talking about how simon was out catching fish and jesus came along. jesus said to simon "lower you fishing nets". simon didn't think anything good would come out of it, but he obeyed jesus and did as he was told. the nets got soo full that they started breaking. simon told jesus to back away for he was too great of a sinner to be in jesus' presence. but jesus said " do not be afraid; from now on you will catch men." i was so confused at what that meant until i asked my dad. it means from then on he would be a disciple for jesus and witness him to others to reel them into Him. that's what we did this week. we caught people and reeled them into God. i hope we made an impact, because christians can save people for eternity like ben said in an earlier post. and that to me is amazing.

Haley is totally right that is one of the best things to do which is to love other people so they may see the love of God through us. That is one of the best things right there is love. The number one commandment is to love. Love God, love people, love the world, love your parents, and just love. If this world would understand that love is really the key to everything then I think that many people in this world today would stop stressing about the little things like gas prices, elections, economy, and other little political things. They would stop looking at those things and realize that there are people out there that are just happy that they have a box to keep them shelter or enough rain to drink from the puddles. We dont deserve the blessings we get at all,but we still get them. There are tears from God's cheek everytime he sees one of his wonderful people hungry or thirsty for Him but they dont know where to turn. We truly do need to fish for men and love. Do your best and let God do the rest.Just love and by loving God will bless you like nothing you have ever imagined.
Love is the key,
