Happy Saturday! Some of you are on your second day of the weekend and some of you are just starting it. Sorry if you didn't get a snow day yesterday!
So, today I was thinking about something that might seem really overdone or cliche to you. But, the truth is, it's totally revolutionary. I'm talking about God's love and what would happen if you (or I) realized just how much He loves you.
If I truly understood how God thinks about me and how He loves me, everything about me would change...
I would struggle less with obeying Him.
I would never worry about my future because I'd know God's plan is the best plan for me.
I wouldn't have to defend myself when someone offends me because I'd be so secure in knowing God.
I'd focus on others because inside I would be so full of God's love.
I wouldn't worry about how I look.
I wouldn't criticize others in an effort to make myself look better.
I wouldn't place value in my accomplishments, but only in what God does through me.
Those are just a few thoughts. Do you realize God's love for you in a way that changes everything about your life? I don't, but I'm working on it.

Hey Tod I just wanted to say that tonights *sermon* for lack of a better word was really nice. I have never felt so close to god as I did tonight. I also think that I wasn't the only person who was touched. I really think that tonight really guided me in following Jesus in every way possible.
