Fall Fusion...

Wow, what a great weekend! I had a blast with all of you at Fall Fusion...especially the late night cabin scavenger hunt...good times. I hope you didn't lose too much sleep.

I hope that you all took away some great things from the weekend, especially when it comes to unity in Christ. Zach Churchill shared some great insights into how we can unite as one and impact our world for Jesus Christ. And how sweet was Aevory Nash...that was so much fun to worship with you guys. For those of you who want check them out more....you can go to their facebook by CLICKING HERE!

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

What was your highlight of the weekend?

That trip was amazing. I love how we talked about "standing alone." It reminded me of a verse I recently memorized.

Since evolution is being taught in our science class right now, I am reminded constantly of this verse and about having to set myself apart of the pattern of the rest of the world.

Mark 13:13
All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

You know, I really liked the Creative Memory Verse preformances.

Also awesome, getting to meet the boys in my Cabin and hanging with the Wolf Pack! Howl At Your Elder Wolf Peeps!

I don't think I have a specific favorite part of the trip, because it all was insanely awesome. I loved Aevory Nash, Mr. Churchill, the Creative Memory Verse Performances, chillin' with my friends, and everything in between.

My favorite part was at the end of the Edgemazing race, when we realized we couldn't win because of the line at the rock wall. The adrenaline slowly left our bodies, we realized how cold and muddy we were. And we wanted to quit -- why bother finishing if we weren't going to hit the top five spots?

But then we talked about unity. Our unity in Christ, our unity to each other for something even as silly as being the purple team and wanting to finish a race that we had no chance of winning.

I think my girls got it!

I loved meeting and sharing with the eighth grade girls in Cabin 8! It's amazing how much insight those girls could share with me.
